Thank you, and do you know where I can download a recovery? I have CWM and I'm trying to install the ZM9 security update!

Opinions vary, I installed it and have had no problems whatsoever http://forums.androidcentral.com/motorola-droid-rooting-roms-hacks/32-flash-player.html#post150

So is it not worth flashing the update? I read that it helps reception. Is that true?

Nope. For a lot of people, it had no real provable improvement and in fact ruined their phone with stability problems, random reboots, and unreliable texting. Avoid at all costs, I wish I never updated :\

The rebooting while testing/calling issue has seems to be solved and it has helped at least some people's signals. I did it and only had a few reboots even with the old kernels.

Edit: Also I posted a link on the radio update thread for the stock zv9 recovery its what I use when I need to flash the zv9 update.
