Issue with options in the Wipe Data Menu causing the recoveries to freeze up if ran has been fixed, to those that downloaded and installed within the last couple of days and had problems sorry, and thank you for your support. Please be sure and leave feed back.

You can try, but the recovery image would have to be unpackage replace the kernel with one for the Wildfire S. I would as a development for the Wildfire to look into building one for the phone, the can pull the source from my github repo.

So far so good. People might want to stick with the adb method. I had a bad flash the first time I tried to use flash image gui (the second time worked fine). I love the look. Touch controls are very nice. I'm making my first backup now. Thanks EarthnFire78!

I went to Key Test in the recovery and I cannot exit the menu. It shows "Key: 855204" for every button I press. Looks like I may have to pull the battery. This is not a big issue, just a little bug. Also, the main menu shows "Wipe Date" instead of Wipe Data. Very nice recovery!!!

Not really a bug, just forget to take into account of the touch control in the source. Well have this fixed and some grammar typos as well.

Great work but I have a question...if I install and use this recovery will it flash jellybean. I have the green recovery by jerry script installed which has given me not 1 problem on any rom so far jellybean ics ihookup etc. Will this recovery give me problems or is a keeper for all roms? Also does it contain a SD ext partitioned? Thanks G

Tested well with flashing ICS ROMS, so JellyBean should flash fine. Look under Utilities Option and you'll find what you looking for.

EARTHANDFIRE78 I tried to use iho updater to install . Img but it said error. As it was trying to install all I kept seeing was lines and lines of out of space errors which I have plenty of space. What's wrong

Did you download the zip file, if so that is only a falseflash and must be done in recovery manually; but it only for people that cannot get out of a recovery boot-loot. If you downloaded the VM70-ZenGarden-Touch.img make sure that the file extension was not changed to .txt if so change it back to .img.

No it stayed at .img it just wont install keeps giving me errors

The File most likely got corrupted during the download, delete and try downloading again; but not over 3G.

The things in the works for the Recovery:

Limit the touch function to just the buttons and not the whole screen. May choose to go with the JellyBean CWM Touch Interface, but on our small screen may not be piratical.
Selected options UI to detail of what function well do.
Allow user to chose default Backup location.
Add support for image Backup restore (NOTE: This may not work with most image backups).
Add function allowing user to chose what to Backup.
If low on SDCard space if user chooses to make a backup, Recovery well go to Delete Backup Menu before continuing with backup.
If user choose to partition the SDCard through Recovery, user well be prompted to backup all files and folders onto users computer before continuing.

Reporting on ICS VM670 version. Backup, Restore working fine, touch buttons work, full wipe works great.
In the package install menu all selections are mixed up. they arent what they say they are. the manual install is "install with reboot" install with reboot is "install with gapps" install with gapps is "install update.zip, and i think install update.zip is "Manual Install".
