I want to overclock my Optimus V so I need a custom rom with overclockable kernal. Anyone have a safe to use and good overclockable custom rom? And which is the best rom out there btw?

Mirage is frequently updated and very stable. I recommend it

I dont have tapatalk lol but ill download so ill get the rom
Edit: nevermind you have to pay for it... is there any direct link i can download on my sd card then open it on phone?

Hi Elias. Mirage is a very good ROM. I'd recommend you start by reading this thread, it is a nice guide for those new to the world of rooting and ROMing the Optimus V, along with information about different ROMs available.

Hey it says int he thread you showed me I have to factory reset in reovery mode. How exactly do i do that?

Im not sure if its a theme. At the think this mod gave me i scrolled down to the roms part. It says for a clean install i have to do factory data reset in recovery mode. I know how to do factory reset but i dont know how to do it in recovery mode.

It's pretty self explanatory. Go to recovery. Select "wipe data/factory reset"

You'll see the option to do a factory reset when you've booted into your custom recovery. The part that you read about themes was his signature.

But the thread that was suggested to you has all the answers you need. Read it a few times before you attempt anything.

you dont need tapatalk to download the rom. there is a thread on here that has his rom. just use your computer.
