This thread was created to provide support for
[ROM][ZVJ][WIP] CyanogenMod 10 (Jellybean!) on the Optimus V.

[INFO]Things you need to know:

This ROM was not made for the Optimus V.

No support is guaranteed. Drew has been gracious enough to help us out, but don't expect miracles. I repeat, this ROM was -NOT- made for the Optimus V.

Any posts in the Optimus S thread will be considered spam and treated as such.[/INFO]

[NOTE]Known Bugs & Issues:

OP in the Optimus S thread lists sound through headphones as not working, camera, MMS, and Google Now.

Nitestalkr is maintaining a flashable ZIP to fix phone, data, key layouts, and whatever else. See second post to get this working on your Optimus V.

JellyBean Super Fix for the LG Optimus V!

[INFO]Things You need to know:

*Includes native app2ext support!
[/INFO]

------Installation---(Must have ROM ZVJ WIP CyanogenMod 10 installed FIRST!)---
-Boot ROM, then Reboot to recovery(only if installing the fix w/SD-Ext Script)
-wipe cache
-wipe dalvik-cache
-disable signature verification
-flash as you would with everything else

[INFO]What this fix includes:

*Included is the ZVD radio fix. (Thanks Zakman for providing what needed to be implemented!)
*The official CM10 Boot animation (Thanks Nate456 for providing the link!)
*LG Optimus V key layout fix (Thank you YoshinJaa for clarifying what needed to be changed!)
*Build.prop changes for the V (Thanks Andrewnelson23 & for providing the code changes!)
*Headphone Audio Jack fix (Thanks clodfelterac for providing that fix)
*App2ext support (Thanks tdm for allowing me to do so!)
*Color Banding fix. (Thanks Zakman again!)
*& and everyone else that has contributed to, and tested this!

So anyone try it yet?

What works, what doesn't?

Specifically,
I assume mms won't, but would a go fix work?
Would a normal button switch work?
Does camera?
Does offline prediction?

I would test it out myself but no computer till Saturday night.

Well I got bootlooped so I'm out till Sellers, TDM, Mrg (if he's doing it), or Bobzhome gets it goin.

I think mrg666 made a comment in his own thread to the of effect of, he's happy with CM7, and isn't interested in working on anything beyond that. I'm pretty sure tdm has shown interest though. You know somebody's going to build it, the temptation is just too great.

Honestly guys your kind of wasting your time until its slimmer and has gapps that aren't 100mb
Tdm says jellybean won't boot maybe he has to have plugged into computer like this rom

I have to reroot my phone.....it's on stock ZV5 due to my unbrick guide.

Back on topic, if anybody's having problems with getting it to boot, either we will have to wait till it's ported/built to work on OV, or flash ZVJ onto our phones and then revert back to ZV5 when done testing it out.

Alright, I'm going to flash this quickly so I can update the OP.

It boots. No service, no Wi-Fi, nothing. As expected.

I may replace the ril files tomorrow for the hell of it. I doubt it will work though because of the seperate zvj libs.
