I was loading custom roms off rom manager (i learned thats bad) now it goes to lg boot logo and a lit black screen please help.

its under clockworkmod/backup?... then you should be able to wipe cache/dalvik/data, format boot/cache/data/system, and restore your backup... delete rom manager and never use it again...

It's a bad download, redownload the cab and try again, delete the one on the computer now...file size is 101 MB. I need to start doing md5 checksums...

Boot into recovery by holding home, volume down, and power at the same time til the lg icon flashes then restore your backup.

when i do that it just goes blank after lg logo flashing

See the stickies, or do Sammy's unbrick guide. You have a new v, and the recovery rom manager flashed is not compatible with your screen.

ive done his method about 5 times and it seems to not work

When that happens try pressing the power button see if that gets cwm to come up

Try using droid@screen (its somewhere in the stickies) to see the recovery.

You proly don't have adb installed and working. You have to have that working. I'd follow sammyz's advice if I were you. Much less of a headache.

youre going to need adb to flash a working recovery and screencast to see what your doing... hopefully one of sammyz tutorials will work for you... and bigsupers fix blackscreen thread works... its just gonna take some effort... such comes with the territory... :-)

Actually you could use the second post, just start from the blank screen in recovery mode.
