NOTE: First Boot takes about eight minutes on my phone, be patient!

NOTE 2: If you end up having issues, always go back and try wiping. Start fresh and see if things don't improve.

NOTE 3: It'll take awhile for everything to settle down. Especially after installing gapps and syncing accounts. Give it a few minutes to settle and reboot a couple times. The system will speed up after that.

Build 11/3: cm-10.0.0-RC0.VM670.BobZhome.11032012.zip MD5checksum= e14bd8b497c3c7eb90c26a3e714ba99e

NOTE: The ROM and the Latest Gapps(below) are so big that the Gapps will not install correctly because the phone runs out of room.
Latest Gapps: gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip MD5checksum= f62cfe4a827202899919fd932d5246d7

==== '''Helpful Tips''' ====

Overclocking is available in Settings --> Performance --> Processor. Tweak it as you like, but know this: not all OV's were created equally.

==== '''Q & A''' ====

Q: What Baseband will this work on?
A: It works with all current Baseband, you do NOT need to update your Baseband, I'm still on ZV4

Q: Do I need the VM670NH recovery to install this ROM?
A: No, it's the one I use and recommend

Q: Can I use an A2SD script with this ROM?
A: No need...the rom will move your apps and dalvik to the EXT partition on your SDcard, if you have an EXT partition!

Q: Do I need an SDcard with EXT partition to install this ROM?
A: No, but it is very recommend to have one.

Q: Why was so much removed from your ROM?
A: This OS is so big it leaves very little room on your phone for your stuff.

Q: What do you mean by "foreign"?
A: Anything other than English and Spainish.

Q: Why was Dalvik-Cache moved back to the Data partition?
A: Gapps did not like it being on the SD-EXT partition and you would get the "Optimizing app x of xx" with every boot up. NOTE: Dalvik does get really big in JB, you may run out of room in Data if you have a lot of apps.

Q: What is with the new custom Gapps?
A: The ROM and Gapps are way to big for this phone, both needed to be slimmed down in order for them to install correctly with them as functional as possibly. Gmail was removed from the Gapps, but it is downloadable from the Play Store. Google Now is partially functional and Voice Search is totally broken.

Q: Why did you change scripts?
A: The A2SD++ script is written better, which allowed me to put Dalvik-Cache back on your SD-EXT partition without any issue. I did edit out parts of the A2SD++ because there is no easy way to erase the Apps-Private and Apps-Data info from the SD-EXT, so I wanted to keep the info on the phones DATA partition. Keeping the old info when flashing a new ROM creates issues, just like when you do a dirty flash. Also I found the ZipAlign did not work as well as the one I was using, so I removed that part of the code from the new script.

Thanks Bob. Been dying for a pure OV Jellybean rom. Zakman's port was good but I can't wait to try this. BTW... they found a slimmed down keyboard that's only 2 megs (if you aren't already using it). Also would this rom benefit from Amphetamines or MiRaGe's EGL patch? :-$

Anyway the gapps could be slimmed? Also is the home button messing up for other people? Like when you press it, it highlights the nearest selectable object on screen? Also, after clean wiping, I didn't have the opportunity to sign into google for account restore.

The Gapps is probably too big, try my slimmed gapps: gapps-jb-medium-20120816-signed.zip

I noticed that GNow srec folder is in the OP posted gapps, so I flashed it twice and am now rebooting. Will report any changes if possible. I will try flashing the medium gapps afterwards.

EDIT: no change after flashing OP gapps twice. Still no first time sign in setup. Now flashing medium momentarily.

Flashing medium gapps didnt really affected anything either. No play store, so its kinda hard to install any app. Trying to figure out a way to get the play store with no restrictions onto it.

So far the bugs/issues I have noticed are (only if you flash the ROM ONLY without gapps):
- No Play Store, so no immediate download of file managers/Titanium Backup/Apps
- Home key button is not set correctly
-Gallery does not display pictures
-CM9 boot animation instead of CM10

What does work:
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth (did not test connectivity; but you can toggle on/off and it does not cause a reboot)

I tried to use adb to push and install but i was having errors on installing device drivers which I already have. Anyone else tried to use adb?
I believe this is a usb mass storage issue with the ROM, I can detect my phone as a usb composite device while in recovery

I'll update this post with any other findings

The home key issue has nothing to do with the char and layout files, just replaced them, hmmm wierd

I tried adding the no device restriction Play Store to the rom zip, and it seemed to have disappeared Google account sign in when trying to add an account via system settings. However, the Play Store did show up in the app drawer.

I lol'd when you listed the bootanimation as a bug.

@Bob, maybe remove the bootanimation for even more room? 2-4 MBs I think.
