What is this? You may ask. DROID OV is going to be your new guilty pleasure. It's a beautifully crafted ROM. Great looks, fast, awesome boot anim, great for music... or anything else!

Features:

GPS Sensors Patch
Faster GPS Lock
Added Bravia Engine (No proof, that it really works)
SD Card Read Speed set at 4096 kbps
Increased Internet Speed by modding system \etc

Boot Animation styled to Galaxy Nexus Intro

NOT WORKING:
-Everything works!

BUGS:
-Tethering from the settings menu isn't working. I figured out that 3rd party tethering apps ARE WORKING. I suggest Barnacle Wifi Tether.

Workarounds:
-For tethering, use a third party app. Preferably 'Barnacle Wifi Tether' from the app store. I'll try to incorporate it in the next update.

Installation:
1. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
2. Factory Reset/Wipe Data
3. Format, Boot, System, Data, Cache
4. Turn Signature Verification OFF.
5. Flash ROM
6. Reboot
7. Go to Theme Chooser and Apply 'Xperia S' or 'Xperia S Non-Trans' depending on your preference.
8. ENJOY!

Lol. Yes, yes xD I have a few porting projects in the works. After I'm done with my other 3 ports, I'm going to stop and try to perfect them all. (To the best of my ability anyway) . I still can't solve hotspot problem.
-sigh- I'll learn.

They turn on? I dont use them either. Well, whenever I try to turn them on, they stay on 'turning on...'

looks great can't wait to dl and try it out, but i need mms so ill give it a go around but untill mms is fixed( which i know you'll get it done with the help of the sick community) ill be using a lot more.

to fix mms you need to decompile classes.dex in framework.jar and replace cdmasmsdispatcher.smali with a working one from a cm9 rom if its based on cm9. from the screenshots it looks like cm9 but if its cm7 use a cm7 smali.

I'm about to try this build. Going to apply the A2SD script as well.

Edit:
So A2SD script worked. MMS is working! Alright! Very fast and responsive!
Only problem I have is with the Gallery. It's kind of slow. Any idea of how to speed this up?

Thanks a lot !! You could use quickpic instead. I heard its faster.

Sweet. Just downloaded the QuickPic app. Much faster. Might as well have this app replace the Gallery App.

Do you think you can add something where when you press the Power+VolUP button you can take a screenshot?

Correct me if I'm wrong but that's only in ICS Roms. This is gingerbread if anyone tells me how, ill add it or let you know

Eh, I always liked doing it the VolUp+Power way. Plus, sometimes when I screenshot in apps, it screenshots a black screen.

Also, another problem I'm having is some problems with the text in apps. For example, Instagram, after I upload a photo, as I go to enter text for a caption, the text is white. And then Draw Something, there's some letters missing, and some white text doesn't come up.

The screencap in apps works fine for me but there is an app called shootme. If you Google 'shootme.apk' you can install it and I find it better than the native screenshot thing.
