Can't take it anymore....
All my phone does is:
* Go Unresponsive
* Freezes
* Reboot on its own
* Or doesn't detect me touching screen till I battery pull
This is all my phone does, about 8 times a day. I'm ready to give up on it.....

Re: Can't take it anymore....
I know that feel, bro.
MiRaGe seems to have squashed these issues, but they do appear again time to time,
Also I experience random lag and it's driving me insane as I type this.
Not to mention a 3+ minute boot time.

Re: Can't take it anymore....
Just flashed ZV9 on my V, hoping it will fix multiple things. It just booted into froyo.

Re: Can't take it anymore....
It's like while typing, it would just freeze during clicking the back button. I just edited GSnap 2.2 with 2.3 elements. I even got the LG Lense lockscreen you guys wanted. Lets see if it boots now.

Re: Can't take it anymore....
Ironic, I was just late for work yesterday because of the clock sync issues and I was thinking on my way in to work today... "Why am I putting up with all of these issues just so my notification bar looks a little cooler and I can feel a little extra special because my phone does something it wasn't built to do?"
Maybe a new phone is in my future as well...
*Edit - I just looked at the Evo V and then promptly at the ROMs available for it and it looks like sometime in the near future it should be an officially supported Cyanogen phone... Looks like I'm gonna be out $300 at the end of the month...Last edited by aaronmfisher86; 10-25-2012 at 08:14 AM.

Re: Can't take it anymore....
This hardware isn't built specifically for this phone, well the processor anyway. 1s and 0s is all it understands. Whatever 1s and 0s you throw at it is up to you

Re: Can't take it anymore....
I've been considering changing too, i like the 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor and the Android 4.0 but not the $299.00 price tag of the HTC EVO.
To me the only phone worth considering from virgin is the Kyocera Rise which has 1 GHz Snapdragon Processor and android 4.0 but it cost $79.99. Only downside with the Rise is as far as Rooting, ROMS, n Hacks go it's still developing.
and if your willing jump to jump ship to boost this one caught my eye for $200 there's the zte warp sequent with android 4.0, 1.4 ghz chip, 768MB RAM, 4GB built in storageLast edited by ebrown761; 10-25-2012 at 02:34 PM.

Re: Can't take it anymore....
Mine has been working great but its slow processor and small screen (compared to all the other phones out in the market right now) it just seems a bit outdated..
The only reason why I haven't upgraded yet is because I only use the phone for texting/calling/gps and I use my tablet for everything else.
