Here i give to the community Jellybread-SuperiorIrkenOrgans + Jellybean eyecandy we all love...
Slimmed & tweaked a bit to my preference...
BIG thanks to those mentioned above, as well as all the communities and individuals that have contributed either directly or indirectly to android open source, and keeping our little black box alive...
BIG thanks to EarthnFire78 for setting up the repo, thewraith420, AndyOpie150, brotherswing, and _alexkta for testing and feedback...

Includes:
2.6.32.9 L#7 kernel
jb eyecandy ui
a few power tweaks
3g data tweaks
built in ad2sdx
agps tweak
ubuntu fonts
s3 default tones
holo launcher
dsp manager
es file explorer
beats themed miui music player
koushs superuser
theme chooser
+ basic apks

i prefer quick, barebone installs...
adjust settings while syncing with google...
sign in, and add any wanted apks...

rom installs in airplane mode for quick install...
a good wifi/3g connection is always recommended...
there is no browser/gallery, you add what you want...

rom comes with 2.6.32.9 kernel, flash your preference on top...
ill tinker with the kernel in the future...

This rom requires that your sd is partitioned...
(sdext size = internal size)

- download COT Universal Installer.zip via pc to your desktop

boot to recovery via key combo
-connect ov to pc via usb

on phone in recovery:
- navigate to
partitions>mount/enable usb storage
- move COT install zip to the root of your sd card (not in any folders)

unmount usb storage via pc, then unmount usb storage via recovery

on phone in recovery:
- navigate to
partitions>wipe cache

on phone in recovery:
- navigate to
advanced>wipe dalvik

on phone in recovery:
- navigate to
install zip from sd
- select the Universal Installer zip and flash
- follow the instructions

after rebooted into cot recovery
-navigate to
partitions>partition sd card
(i use 1024/0swap for 2gig sd cards)

after partitioning is complete
- navigate to
power options>reboot recovery

after booted back into recovery
-connect ov to pc via usb
- navigate to
partitions>mount/enable usb storage
- move Jellybread.zip/Gapps.zip to the root of your sd card (not in any folders)

unmount usb storage via pc, then unmount usb storage via recovery

on phone in recovery:
- navigate to
cot settings>disable md5 signature verification

-navigate to
partitions>wipe boot
>wipe cache
>wipe data
>wipe sd-ext
>wipe system
>wipe dalvik

navigate to
zip flashing>choose zip from sd card
- select Jellybread.zip and flash
- select Gapps.zip and flash

boot android
- enjoy

Recalibrate your battery!

Looks like a cool rom, with a few caveats: (I'll flash it later tonight)
-The beats-themed music player just doesn't really fit with the rest of the rom.
-A function for disabling the profiles would be cool
-I'll see if I can make it work on the optimus s later
-fastcharging

Also, is the lockscreen like a legitimate cm9/10 lockscreen, or does it only look like it>

thanks... the music player is a miui music player, just beats themed because everyone wants eyecandy, and miui music player is the best for gingerbread in my opinion...

ill look into the profile deal, but none should be set unless youve set one up... i dont and have never used that feature... i disable a lot of settings when i set my daily up to increase battery and performance...

i built SIO last night for the Ls670... currently working on a full Jellybread build for the Ls...

build comes with generic linux kernel, you flash what you want on top... i prefer OM myself, but mrg666s/bobzhomes/jaws should all work, and i believe they all have usb fast charge built in... i know OM/mrg666s does...

the lockscreen in my screenies is holo+minimal via settings, again, my preference... installs with beautified cm7/holo lockscreen...

Couple porblems I have found after 1.5 days of use. There is no fastcharging, which really sucks Also, you cant wifi tether, which also really sucks And my lockscreen doesnt always turn on, sometimes just the buttons light up but the screen stays black.

fast charge is kernel related... you flash your preference...

lockscreen delay is in the build.prop... it was supposed to have the opposite effect...
change:
ro.lge.proximity.delay=0
to:
ro.lge.proximity.delay=25
(fixed 05262013)
