Doesn't come up?

Ok here's the deal...my laptop fried this past week (that sucked big time)...so I have now gotten a new laptop but now this laptop wont read or recognize my phone when I plug it in. When I look into the devices tab it says device driver is unavailable,does anyone have a link for this fix? is that the fix ? Thanks for the help in advance.

edit: duh had a temporary brain fart got it going:-[

Go to Android Forums/Optimus V/All things Root sub-forum/All Things Root Guide sticky. Go to bottom of first post. Direct Downloads. Install the LG drivers for thr V. Right after install reboot computer. When it's finally done booting up, plug in phone. Thats all there is to it.
