Hey guys and gals, was using a rom called bumblebee update, kept getting force close market messages. Finally decided to fix that so I thought. I used prep for new rom, flashed the latestt gapps I had. then reflashed the rom. After reboot all I got was a black screen with the bar on top. could not power down. Removed and replaced battery and have been stuck in boot loop since. Have tried to get into recovery using the buttons and by trying to power down which it will not do. Is it time for a new phone or can it be rescued? After removing battery for about ten minutes and then replacing I was able to get back into recovery. Currently installing a backup now. thanks.

You can't use the Google apps with a Froyo ROM.
My suggestion would be to try a Gingerbread ROM called MiRaGe and the 20110828 Gapps. Then use Link2SD to gain more space on the internal storage.
