Re: [ROM] Harmonia 1.87 Froyo (Aphrodite+Picasticks) 12June12
The update did not affect the ROM. The ROM is still compatible.
Question: What exactly are you looking for in a ROM?
In the almost two years of owning my V I have flashed every ROM developed for it and almost all that have been ported over as well.
I can guide you to the best ROM for your needs.
Note: All Froyo ROMs still have the factory reset option in the phones settings. PLEASE: Never, ever do a factory reset from that setting. It will B.R.I.C.K the phone.
Once rooted you can only use the "wipe data/factory reset" option from the recovery.

1.9 is the latest for Froyo Harmonia.
Frankly in terms of Froyo, there really isn't a whole lot to chose from. If you are worried about the age, it doesn't really matter.Without updates from LG, there isn't a lot that can or should be updated on this.
I recommend running the rom you appear to be. Mirage.

I have a Froyo ROM.zip (with the acivate app) on the sd card in case I ever loose my data connection.
As LeslieAnn mentioned the latest MiRaGe ROM is the best right now for the V.
It's the fastest, smoothest, most secure, rock solid ROM for this phone, no matter what the baseband.

Re: [ROM] Harmonia 1.87 Froyo (Aphrodite+Picasticks) 12June12
I'm selling the phone to a friend, and I remember that after doing the ZV9 update that no rom was stable except for the official 2.2.2 firmware. The CM7 roms were patched to be stable, but I remember that 2.2.1 roms were unstable after going to the ZV9 radio. I have to give it to them with froyo so it has the activate app.
I suppose I'll just flash it to CM7 if they have issues.Optimus V w/ MiRaGe CM7.2 @ 768mhz, latest sprint PRL - 03-01-2013, 08:28 AM #1881
Re: [ROM] Harmonia 1.87 Froyo (Aphrodite+Picasticks) 12June12
The Harmonia might still have the factory reset option in the Phone settings. Let them know never to use it.
Note: You could flash the MiRaGe ROM then make a backup onto whichever SD card your selling it with. Then flash the Harmonia.
Show them how to activate, where the wipe data/factory reset option is in the recovery, and how to restore the MiRaGe you will have backed up.

Re: [ROM] Harmonia 1.87 Froyo (Aphrodite+Picasticks) 12June12
I'm having a problem with Google Play on Harmonia v1.9
Almost every app I try to install gives me and error that says "... could not be downloaded due to an error. (498)"
I'd say this happens to about 95% of the apps I've tried to download. I tried wiping the cache and the davlik and still get the error. I have plenty of space on the phone (over 100mb). I'm not sure what else to try. I've searched on google and only saw recommendations to wipe the cache and davlik. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks! - 06-09-2013, 10:36 PM #1883

Re: [ROM] Harmonia 1.9 Froyo (Aphrodite+Picasticks) 12June12
Did this start to happen after an update? Try and open up a terminal emulator and type in:
If that doesn't work try The Gingerbread Harmonia as Google might have done something to the app that keeps it from working on Froyo ROMs.Code:su fix permissions
