[MOD] Black Notification Area and Blue Signal Bar for Bumblebee 2.1

Ok people, this is my first try at doing anything like this.

The following mod will change your Bumblebee ROM 2.1 notification bar, icons and signal bars...

All credits go to obijohn (Bumblebee ROM), the devs at UOT Kitchen (notification bar and icons) and to mmmark111 (Rodimus ROM) for the blue signal bar.

Disclaimer: Make sure you perform a Nandroid backup first! I'm not responsible for bricked phones, high blood pressure, spikes in glucose levels or any end of the world prophecies.

Download and place .zip file on your SD card and install from recovery.

Wipe cache and dalvik cache.

excellent mod exactly what I needed to make this rom perfect for me. going to stick to bumblebee until an official gingerbread is released.

How were you able to change the signal bar? Whenever I try to change it with UOT it changes every icon except that

The reason is because UOT kitchen only modifies framework-res.apk and the Optimus' maintains the signal meter inside lge-res.apk

I borrowed the bar icons from Rodimus black and blue theme and merged it with a theme cooked on UOT.

I will work on creating a color 6 bar meter later today or tomorrow.

You should of left the header and footer alone. See all the screen realist-ate you lost? Not sure why kitchen does that. Likely because it's used with a lot of highrez phones.

Yes, I noticed that it takes much more space than stock. Maybe if am able to tackle that color six bar meter I will change the mod to something smaller.

off topic from the quote but i dont like using UOT because look how big the "Virgin Mobile" box is. takes up too much space

I just uploaded a mod with just the icons, signal bar and notification bar changed . The drop down is back to stock.

Just thought I'd jump in here and say that this mod should work ok with the new Bumblebee 2.3, since the files used in the mod were not changed in the update.
