I let my little sister access her AOL email on my phone, and now I can't get rid of the account and the notifications.
I've tried going Menu>Settings>Accounts and sync but it doesn't come up under manage accounts.
I really want to stop getting all of these notifications through, but I don't want to delete the actual AOL account, just remove it from my phone.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Go to email icon ... select it ... hit the far left hard button at the base of the phone (looks like a box in a box) it will open a dialog box ... select account settings ... select account name ... remove the aol address from the mane box select ...OK.

Actually there is even a better faster way ... select e-mail then select the far left hard button (looks like a box in a box) then select accounts then hold down the account you want to delete until a dialog panel appears at the bottom of the dialog panel there is a selection "remove account".
