Is it possible to get Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean for the Huawei Ascend Y H866C. There is one official release for the Huawei Ascend G300, but i was too scared to try it on my phone, because of possible "failure" . please reply : ))))

I know this is a few months old to be bouncing, but I too would like to update my droid version. Many apps have issues with the stock 2.1 :P it's sad. Not to mention in the processes, we'd get a root on this device that we desperately NEED! The poor thing only comes with 250 megs of internal storage and they stock that with over 240 meg of system apps that can't be moved or symlinked without root, to the SDCard. *sigh* Sooner or later
