Sorry for the super late reply, only entered this part of the forum.
I was until this year, few to many bills sent mum cutting my plan.
I was willing to pay the gap to unlimited and she got convinced on the same plan which is "practically unlimited", $400 worth of credit, 50 cents a text doesn't last long.
So i moved to optus, $30, unlimited optus calls (was on weekends but changed), unlimited texting/mms, few hundred $ worth of calls, so it works out to be enough, Im a student so i really don't need anything more.

I must admit they have an excellent service, but I am not notice much of a difference with optus. Only when I'm down south there are parts were I get covered and telstra doesn't and vice versa (probably more vice versa) however i rarely go down so thats not an issue. I am trying to stay away from virgin and vodafone, mates are with them - they stay its a joke but they never leave it -_-
I should go back to a plan, but I've just got in the habit of buying phones outright - so who has the best phones isn't much of an issue for me either.
