Just about ten minutes ago I dropped my brand new 4th generation iPod touch into the toilet, while it was on... It shut off before I could grab it out but within a minute it was placed in a bag of rice and placed directly under a desk lamp. Is there anythng else I can do to increase the chances that this will work again?

Give it plenty of time to dry itself out, chances are you'll be fine. But I have to ask, since it's an iPod touch and not an iPhone, I know you weren't standing in front of the porcelain throne doing the tinkle tinkle with the phone between your ear and shoulder.....so...how on earth did it land up in the toilet bowl, and most importantly, what was occupying the toilet bowl besides the water?
