stuck on lock screen HELP!!!

hi i have an xperia and i have been using it for wifi and now when i turn it on it goes to the screen with the time and emergency call button... i cant seem to get out of it... id hate to reset the phone ... if i even can... help please

i just tried resetting it (it is a x10) and all it did was boot to the same screen but saying "safe mode" in the corner

try turning off the phone, then holding the volume up power up again

Nada.. just boots me back to the same screen

I dont have your device so my info is just from reading around the net..... try removing the battery. hold down the power button for 10seconds then let go.....plug your device into your computer, with your battery still out press volume up and power till the device turns on.

that didnt work either but now its starting up to the slide to unlock the i slide it an it brings me to sign into gmail account... i never had a gmail account lol so it wont let me log in now
