Sony Xperia Mini Pro with 4.0:4: user experiences/thoughts?
Hello
It seems my carrier have no clue about rolling out an OTA update for the Xperia Mini Pro. Either that or their Tech Support guys have a 'Be deliberately thick' script.
A non-root manual update path is potentially open, retaining some of the Sony-only features. Before diving in, I wondered what user experiences of ICS were on this phone.
Plunging into CM10 is also an option for my currently unrooted phone. Again, I'd be curious to hear any feedback or thoughts.
With best wishes
Gareth

To answer my own post, I did the manual update to 4.0.4 using Flashtool and an ftf from XDA.
So far so good. Not quite the buttery goodness of JB, but still nicer than GB. It feels faster and has forced me to think about what I 'need' on my phone. No bad thing!
