Hi! I am very new to Android, and have what is probably a very dumb question. I recently purchased a A9 Google Android tablet and it doesn't have the android market .

Manufacturers have to get the OK from Google to add the market. This is why you see so many off brand tablets running Android but not the market. Google makes Android open for all to use but limits the market.
