You can use Dropbox or Sugarsync or Google Drive if you need to transfer files.

Most older tablets with Honeycomb(3.0) or Gingerbread(2.3) are Mac Compatible. However, Later Honeycomb 3.1 and Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 use the MTP system to transfer files Whiel it should work with Mac computer MTP is more Windows Friendly

You need to "Turn on USB storage" in the USB connected area from the navigation bar at the bottom right of the home screen. This will enable your Mac to see the device in Finder.

    Cheers
