Here are the specs: CnM Touchpad 9 Device Specifications | Handset Detection

Bottom line is that it will probably be fine for fairly basic things like social networks and simple games like Angry Birds. The 800x480 resolution isn't terrific, but if you're not already used to a screen like the 2013 Nexus 7's, then you may not mind it. it has 512 MB of RAM, which means you can't keep that many apps open in memory, and so starting and switching apps will be slower than a device with 1-2 GB of RAM. 8 GB of Internal Storage is ok--at least it isn't 4 GB, which is what many inexpensive devices come with. The CPU is listed as 1 GHz, but it doesn't specify if it's single or dual core. It doesn't seem to have access to the Google Play Store, so you may have to install apps from other 3rd party app stores like Amazon Appstore, GetJar, etc.

And it's called the CNM Touchpad 9? Not sure why it would have different specs than what's listed on the web. I thought you said you couldn't play with it until Christmas?
