Default Useful Links for Pandigital 9" (and to a lesser degree 7")

Given the only other post on the Pandigital is a "how to" I thought I'd collect the links I found useful in getting mine up and running.

Please note, I'm no expert and just got mine for Christmas.

    - this solved my problems in getting apps running on my Novel 9".

    Hello Darcy,

I am looking into purchasing a Android 2.0 Pandigital 7" w/ 2Gb for sale at a local BigLots for $77 not incl. tax. I was wondering if this is worth it or should I hold out for better deals that may come out on BlackFriday? Is it possible I can find a Android tablet for under $100 that is larger than 7" and better than this one? It says it doesn't support multi-touch. Haven't gone too much into researching other tablets as this deal I discovered in a local paper ad. From the little bit of research I have discovered individuals have rooted these with success. Just I never seem to catch the real good deals. I purchased my Optimus V @ $160 when others months earlier got their's for < $100

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am looking at these as well, as they are on sale @ Amazon. I know if I got it I would be looking for ways to root it and get Honeycomb on it.

Good luck finding a hack for it. I only found one based on the Canadian version software. I was a bit skeptical of how well it worked so I passed on that one.

Slatedroid.com has a hack that gives you 2.2 and market. Some issues with the B&N app, but I reinstalled it from the market and it seems fine now.

How was that to install? I wasn't too sure of it. And was that for the 9" or the 7"? I have the 9".

How do you get this thing to flash? I tried holding power button and volume+. But nothing happens.

If you have the star tablet, the actual hack is under the other 7 inch tablet not the nova our but the planet. The star and planet are so similar that you can use the hack for the planet. Google pandigital planet hack and pick the first website download pdp download for 2.2.1 os , then follow the video it takes you to and on YouTube and you'll be good to go. Just did my daughters star yesterday. No root required!
