i cannot get the stupid open android kit from the pandigital to install. Or any firmware update. Every time when i try to update this stupid tablet, it the loading bar gets to "verifying update" and then resets. WHAT DO I DO?

Make sure there's NOTHING else on your SD card first. Then. I'd recommend finding Cyanogenmod 6.x. It's what I'm currently running on mine, and it works like a champ. Throw that on your SD card, hold down the Volume + button and hold the powerswitch on...and voila. Although....the white PDN or black PDN? Which are you using...?
