Does someone know if pre-ordering online guarantees to receive the phone before everyone else?
I asked a Radio SHacks employee and he had no idea what I was talking about regarding the HTC EVO V 4G and told me that if ordered online, I would probably get it on the 31st (release day).
If so, what's the point of pre-ordering?

My guess is HTC will treat it like any other phone release. You should have it the day of.

Radio Shack has taken down the pre-order page. They must have gotten slammed with orders and it is no longer available for pre-order.

Also, the 5/31 release date is for online orders only. It will not be available in any store until June 10th.
