I just learned of this company that's partnered with T-Mobile and it seems almost too good to be true. Solavei | Sign Up, Log In, or Learn More. Is anyone here using their service? $49/ month unlimited everything, and for every 3 people u get to sign up they knock $20 off ur bill. I mean, I know its hard to get people to switch providers, but even if u don't get referrals it seems like a great deal. Anyone that gets good T-Mobile service in their are should definitely consider trying this service. Id love to hear some feedback from someone that has tried it. I'm stuck with Sprint for another year, but strongly considering paying the etf and trying out Solavei.
I just joined Solavei and still waiting for my SIM to arrive.

There is one warning for any people that is looking into Solavei. They do NOT support short codes. They only have themselves, google, facebook and twitter shortcodes. For me I can't quickly check my bank balance or check the bus schedule if I'm on Solavei. So I am working to find a way around this obstacle. So I am just here educating others about that. Most people get mad and leave the service because Solavei failed to advertise that fact in a simple manner. They state that pre paid usually doesn't allow short codes because of the fees, but that's not true. Every other mvno I researched into allows it to some degree. And tmobile prepaid allows it for sure.

But luckily, I don't run a business that relies on shortcodes like some people I've read about. So only bad thing for me is the inconvenience of quickly checking my balance at my bank.

Oh and an FYI, they don't support tethering also. But that's a bit blurry because it seems like they say they don't allow it but they don't enforce it. They can however cut you off since it's technically against their tos. And speaking of getting cut off, if you ever go on vacation or something you would still have to keep paying for your bill. If you don't pay your bill within 30 days you're out.

Actually, shortly after I made this thread Sprint switched on LTE in my area, so it wasn't worth it for me to pay the ETF. My contract ends in August so I think I'm going to go Prepaid then. I've had it with these second rate networks, so I don't know if I wanna switch to a T-Mobile MVNO. I think I'm going to buy an unlocked GS3 and try Red Pocket (AT&T MVNO) for a while. It would be nice to have the Nexus 4 since its pentaband and u could get 4g on AT&T and T-Mobile. I just don't think even the 16gb version will cut it for me. I want at least 32. That and the non-removable battery are kind of a deal breakers for me.

2 days with Solavei and I'm digging it. Only issue is my mms isn't working at the moment. I just ported yesterday so I'll give it a couple days.

I was paying a bit less for virgin mobile but the data speeds were 10 times slower than what I'm getting now.
