Hi everyone, i'm an android fan but would like to help a friend get a used iphone for the strait talk no contract service. Has anyone tried it with success? I'm thinking that any gsm unlocked iphone would work but don't want to go buy an iphone just to have it not work. If you've done it or know first hand of someone that has please let me know. Thanks

No need to unlock it, st uses at&t network, just visit this site on the iphone: unlockit.co.nz and creat the APN for st.

^ He is 100% correct! no need to unlock. I setup an iPhone for my friend on ST last month. (4S)

The ONLY draw back is MMS will NOT work unless your jail broken. Otherwise it works fine.

Good luck!

I had a similar experience to report when setting up my wife's AT&T iphone3gs. Insert ST sim card, change APN using unlockit.co.nz and it works.
