ZTE Source Music Player

Hey; I'm new here, wondering if anyone can answer this question for me. I'm using the default music player on my ZTE Source phone, and can't seem to get the lyrics to my songs to show up; it simply says "No lyric". So far, I've tried creating a .lrc file the same folder, and with the same file name as the song it belongs to, but to no avail. I've also tried adding the lyrics with Mp3Tag, but again, no dice.

I'd still like to use this music player, but would also like to figure out how to get the lyrics to show up. Any ideas?
