I'm considering doing the same thing ... ordering one when they are available to ship.

I'm in a similar boat...I pledged on April 28th, so I suspect it will be a while. :-\

In the meantime, I have had a WIMM One, and currently using the Metawatch.

FINALLY got my "Your Pebble is ready! Please verify your address!" email... I should have it in a couple of weeks!

Well, a far so good. Quick thoughts...

I like it quite a bit! It's quite different hardware wise from the MetaWatch that I've been using; a lot thinner, but a touch longer.

I already bought a screen protector...there's no way that this will stay scratch free for very long without one.

All notifications work really well. There are people saying that they were able to get Handsent to work with Pebble, but I haven't had any luck yet.

The music player controls work nicely too. There's quite an impressive list of compatible music players to chose from. However, there is no volume control as of yet.

Got mine Wednesday and so far like it alot. The only complaints I can think of would be the lack of notifications Ill get to this in a minute and some of the power fuctionality for the watch like acknologement when you plug it up that its charging or how much battery percentage you have left. What kind of battery life are you guys getting so far?
On the Notification portion I am not happy with only SMS being the only thing sent to it I would like some of my other email accounts and google talk to be sent as well. So I installed the Augmented Smartwatch Pro from the market place around 4 bucks but it has given me the options to have google talk, better gmail, and my other email accounts. I can also have it delay notifications going to the watch so I have time to read one before another comes in a wipes it out. Being rooted gives you a few more functions for gmail along with some other stuff.
Controls on the watch look to be pretty straight forward the button on the left of the phone is the back button while the top and bottom on the right side scroll up or down and the middle button being the select button. Unless Im missing something I wish it had a way to see the past notifications.

I have one, don't wear it at work because I don't want to smash it. But going out its great being the galaxy nexus speaker is so quiet and love it for my bike rides.

After my packages from Adafruit come in on Wednesday, I'm going to see if my pebble can have any place in my Rasperry Pi project!
