I took this with the Samsung Galaxy Camera Wifi and this is with no editing.
This 'clock' is located at Museo Delle Sinopie and is part of the Plaza of Miracles complex in Pisa, Italy. If you look carefully, the ‘clock’ below the arch is actually a wind rose. MEZZ stands for mezzogiorno. It doesn’t refer to noon but to the south wind (that is, the wind blowing from the south). TRAM is short for tramontana, or literally ‘through the mountains’ - the north wind. If the dial is pointing to ‘SCIR’, this is the scirocco, which blows from the coast of Africa and brings cold, wet weather.
So this 'clock' tells you if it's time to find an umbrella.
