March to the Match. Taken with a Galaxy S5.

Music is all around us, and while we aren't all blessed with the gift of being able to create music, we can certainly take pictures of things that illustrate the idea. This week we're commissioning your best "music" photos for the contest, and whether it's a live performer or an FM radio, we want to see what you can do with this prompt.

Your entry will have to be top-notch this week, as we'll be picking just one winner to receive a prize. That winning photo will be worth of receiving a Ventev Powercell 6000+ wall charger and battery pack.

Entering is easy. Just drop your entry in a post below. Tell us what Android you used to get the picture, and any back story you want to add to it. We'll pick a winner Tuesday (May 20) night at 11:59 PM ET, and announce them on the blog with next Wednesday's contest.

  • Pictures must be taken with an Android device
  • Pictures must be uploaded to the contest thread. I'm not running all over the Internet to track them down.
  • You have to tell us what device you used to take the picture, and any special software you might have used. Editing your pictures is fine ? this is art.
  • Feel free to add a little back story ? we want to know how the picture came to be.
  • You must have used a valid email address to register here at AC, so I know how to contact the winner.
  • Only one entry per week per person.

Good luck, everyone!

Friend of my wife and I owns a cafe in our city and plays the sax. He's in a jazz band and invited us to one of their sessions. Great music and one of the best espressos in town!
Taken with my N5 and edited in the Photo app (whats the purpose of snapseed again.....)

These custom painted Ferrari Red Onix X-Series speakers definitely make some sweet music. Pic from a G2.

You don't need an instrument to make music :) Garageband, Blue Yeti mic, and a Jambox.

Taken with my Moto X, stock camera. Given a cooler temperature with Snapseed. Incandescent can be rough.

Well I've been a Bruce Springsteen fan my entire life. So when I went to JazzFest in New Orleans last week toting my Grand Marshall pass to get close to stage, I had my SLR at the ready. Only problem... No interchangeable lens cameras allowed in the Grand Marshall access area! No problem. We picked a spot right at the front row at the riser to the rear of the access area. Bruce came to the riser three times during the show - he was literally 6 feet away - and this pic was snapped during Promised Land with my Galaxy Note 3 stock camera. No zoom. No editing. This one's a keeper for me. Not bad for a mobile device!

20140506_191402_1.jpg This was taken with our LgG2 during the stage show #twistintime on the #disneymagic. Disney is known the world over for its music and this stage show is no different. The photo was edited with some hdr effects in #snapseed

Once i saw this thread I looked to my left and snapped this photo of my three guitars. Each one creates its own unique music.
I used my LG G2 and did some editing with snapseed.
