Well, this was a perfectly good excuse to open it. Nexus 6, HDR+ and some tweaking in Google + photo editor.PortVintage.jpg

I captured this picture with my Note 2 this past summer. My friends and I drove up to the Thousand Islands for a vacation.
I used both Pixlr and Snapseed to edit this photo

This is a side entrance door to the Chester, SC city hall. Memories of ducking under our desks in school are vivid.

Re: Weekly Photo Contest: Vintage - both sides of the wall

My wife and I went to Europe last year.
When we reached the Berlin Wall, we thought: how would be if we were 30 years ago at different sides of the wall? ;)

Taken with GS4, enhanced in Pixlr.

You can't talk about vintage if you dismissed the beauty of old trains or locomotive.
And this one here is an insignia of a passenger train made by the Werkspoor Amsterdam.
The insignia isn't on an actual passenger train, but in a miniature one in Train Museum (Museum Lawang Sewu) in Semarang, East Java.
Pic was taken with a Nexus 5 and then retouched with Photoshop to crop and do increase some contrast .

Nothing like hailing a vintage Chevy for a cab in Old Havana...but didn't want to interrupt the the locals as they exchanged laughs and hugs in Plaza de la Revolution. This was taken around midday in late December using my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and edited with Aviary.

Re: Weekly Photo Contest: Vintage - both sides of the wall

This is what I imagine a fill up at an old gas station may have looked like. At least I like to think that. I pulled into a modern gas station on my way to California early last year and the owner had this amazing staged setup of a very early model of the gas station from way back. It was absolutely amazing. This was taken with my HTC One and modified in the stock photo app before upload. It was done at night so the lighting from the gas station are a bit intense.

While coming out of the restroom at the Pebble Beach Lodge I noticed this.... It's vintage proof that men have been texting while walking with their wives for a loooooong time.

Taken with a S5, but edited on a Droid Turbo.

I started life as a Merchant Navy Radio Officer in the 1970s and this venerable morse key has been all around the world's oceans with me. Interestingly most of the abbreviations used in today's SMS messages etc., were used by radio operators when using it for informal communications - anything to shorten the message!

By the way taken on my LG G3 with no post software manipulation.

"Lost and forgotten". Taken on a Samsung Galaxy S4.

I was on a walk in the woods behind my house and came up on a long lost farm equipment scrap yard. I have sense discovered that this is the frame of a 1926 Harley Davidson that has been out there for at least 50 years.

Here's an HDR+ image I've taken with my Google Nexus 5. The image was shot at a place named Radio City, here in Islamabad Pakistan. The place has a huge collection of old albums, movies, etc. This is one of the best and most "vintage" images I got from in there.

Also keep in mind that since I couldn't upload this through my mobile I had to back it up to OneDrive and upload it here, I am sure the EXIF data is intact but just in case it isn't, fret not I didn't steal the image from anywhere and it was indeed snapped by my Nexus, the only other place where this image can be found is my imgur album, which you should definitely check out. :D
