Like the first battle of the civil war when they had picknicks from afare to watch what they thought would be a short entertaining skermish i want those news casters to get a m16 and one on the roof with a 50 cal with people shooting at them see how they like it armed forces wont take me "im mentally unstable in combat situations" as they put it i have a bleeding heart for our soldiers and vets they dont deserve this crap let them kill themselves if they attack us no mercy

Really that's why I said that. We the USA have our own issues. All we are going to do is the bomb the crap out of them. Then when dust clears we go in and rebuild there country. Why?

There is a connection to conflicts, especially in the middle east, to fuel prices... But I'm missing how that means that we should get involved at all, let alone as exterminators.

Because oil is a multi billion dollar business and they are so greedy. So greedy that they have no qualms for trading blood for oil. If they didnt have oil we wouldn't give a crap. As it goes who controls the oil control's the world. Wake up to them they are insects on a piece of pie they want. They are disgusting enough to pick them off and eat the pie

And yet we sit on our oil supplies and resources, because of greed as was previously stated. We want them to use theirs first. Sadly, we could easily be energy independent if they wanted us to be. I still can't think of a country we felt we needed to intervene in that wasn't of some benefit for us to do so.

The two isn't comparable, First, if the government shows their intel to the citizens its not exactly intel any more is it? they are showing it in confidential meetings. Obama talks about a strike as he wants to deter future infringements against international law. No, the Justice Department expressing they want life in jail before the case and prosecuting because they believe his guilty, the justice department goal is convict - doesn't same scenario, they only do convictions if they have evidence, they don't do it for no reason and they state what they want as a punishment upfront before the decision on guilt by another party is ruled -in this case most want the Jury to be the UN or congress

The politicians are supposed to do the will of the people. In this case (in addition to the wonderful Obamacare some of you crow about) the will of the PEOPLE is AGAINST your so-called more intelligent politicians.

Now, lets say if you were a specialists lets say in Engineer, you have a better belief of what i correct than someone who has done a bit of research, its their profession. Their more informed to make decisions and better decisions.

Maybe its a bit different over here, as all our members our former lawyers, economists with the exception of Clive Palmer (has 1 seat out 150ish/self made billionaire). Now the average joe, doesn't know squat how to run the economy lets say or legal ramifications of broken law, now these people do. They have done it as a profession, their in positions to prevent these injustices occurring. Yes they are there to represent us, but in times, they are also their to make the best decision for us whether we like it or not as sometimes its not needed. E.g. People didn't want our government to increase spending during the recession, more than any other country- they did, it make us the best performing country with the smallest recession. Now if they listened to the public our unemployment would be higher.

Because if your country gassed your citizens, you would hope another country stops it. Also if you read my previous post, every genocide, gassing has occured and continued on a mass scale because no one stopped them early and these people even said thats the reason they continued with their crimes. Sometimes rebuilding is best for all , when we freed parts of france - We destroyed half the city, we rebuilt it, now if that didn't occur they would be speaking german, they would be without schools and possibly without its current stability.

Are you that shallow? Trust me our economy is built on Oil and Iron, We wouldn't invade just to boost our own economy. Secondly, your oil fields could run out - it wouldn't be why you would go to Syria, you would go to the ocean, e.g like Shell and Chervon have in Western Australia.

And i have worked in the oil fields and had an in plant radio the things i heard to make a refinery run... Ok to you think 700,000 gallons is alot?? Nope believe it or not depending on the size of the plant thats less than the oil in the pipes... Think about it most refineries have over 75 tanks that hold over 22 million gallons im talking 150 feet across and 27 feet high or bigger. Theres chemical storage facilities that are nothing but tanks. Ships move in and out that off load everything sorted mixed and shipped out in rail cars. I e worked at a shell plant Valero chemical storage called stove-haven but i can still go into a marathon and thats just one state and a drop in the bucket compared to the whole
