As in a hacked Verizon hotspot, not that I know of. But I do know you can use one of the apps off of the market if you have deleted the stock hotspot app off your phone. Well that's what I was told.

If you haven't seen it yet foxfi is the way to go. It is simple to use and doesn't require root. Search for foxfi in Google Play.

I run Eclipse and it has the Wifi hotspot built right in.

I'm Rooted on ICS 4.04 and Google's wifi tether .apk isn't working anymore, and neither are several other wireless tether apps. Anyone else?

This is the exact same method since gingerbread. Although line 150 entitlement check move to 79 after ICS updated.

rooted stock razr hd. tether doesnt show up when i start it. using wifi tether for root users. i also cant disable/delete the bloatware hotspot. anyone?

Check out SQLite work around. You can use the stock hotspot with out checking in with Verizon.
