Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
Bionic has been announced by Verizon. It will be coming. Any others are just rumors at this point.

Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
I voted for the Bionic only because VZW has yet to show anything worth talking about yet...

So Verizon's best phone is one it doesn't actually sell?
That sort of affirms my point up thread - 08-05-2011, 04:26 PM #32
Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
HTC all the way; I voted Dinc because it's the smallest one out there (and that means a lot to me); gave my Dinc2s away because they were so big, even though they seemed faster. ~shrug~

Most will vote for the phone they own...
I wouldn't place much kudos on the rankings. The Thunderbolt was available much earlier than the Charge which is why it has more votes. I'm voting for the Charge because I own it. I've comapred the Tbolt and the LG Rev and the Charge and decided the Charge was the best of the 3. The other Motorola Droids did not matter because they are not 4G. The Bionic that I gave up on will never be available. Even if it does go on sale in September It wil not be the original Bionic showcased. It will be a tamed down version (not the true Bionic).
Charge it is... - 08-05-2011, 05:24 PM #34
Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
I have to go with the Thunderbolt. I own the Charge and the Thunderbolt, while the Charge is a nice phone I prefer the Thunderbolt's design. I live in a 4G area and get full bars in my home.

Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
I have an Incredible, no, not an Incredible 2, and I voted for it because after a year-and-a-half, it still runs great. In fact, with CM7, it's much more stable than my friends' Fascinate and Thunderbolt. It still has the power and dev. and manufacturer support to contend with any other phone, IMO.
Edit: I forgot to add that it still got Gingerbread early on and was in the original batch of phones officially supported by the Netflix app. - 08-05-2011, 05:41 PM #36

I have a Droid Pro and I love it.

Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
I had to vote for the Droid X. It is big, versatile, and the only phone I am familiar with. ;-)

Has to be the Thunderbolt. Easy choice for me.

Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
If you're going to include the Bionic you might as well include the Galaxy S2. In that case the slam dunk winner is Galaxy S2.

For the record I chose the Bionic based solely on Specs, but I love my DX and the Mrs loves the Bolt.

Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
Agree with DenverRalphy.....Bionic has not released to general Verizon customers so no way to tell if it will live up to it's specs and for me especially with that pentile screen.
The phone I would have voted for is the og droid if it was listed because it is what I have and the only one I have extensive experience with. It might not be the fastest thing now, but nothing wrong with the display screen or it's operation for most of what I do - 08-05-2011, 09:06 PM #45

Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
Thunderbolt. Bionic is announced but no one has hands on experience. Thunderbolt is the best of the LTE phones that I've gotten to play with, and the development community is solid.

Thunderbolt. It has its down falls like any phone, but the development community, Sense, LTE, and overall hardware make it awesome. It will also likely be the only device with the SVDO-type radio set, allowing simultaneous voice + data on 3G.

Re: Readers choice awards: Verizon's best Android phone
I voted for the Samsung Droud Charge.Because I love the Super AMOLED display, and the physical buttons on the bottom rather than capacitive. I've had my Charge for almost 3 full months, no major compmaints.
