CWM Recovery help
Ok, I had cleanrom on my phone, lost 4g so started messing around. When I go into CWM Recover v5.8.1.4 and try to reinstall a rom or anything I just get the little CWM icon, It will not go into any option I choose. I have to pull the battery to restart. But the screen will not turn on when I push the power. Only think I can do is boot into bootloader. VZW rep said they can replace it, but was afraid I would get charged from HTC since its prob my fault. Any suggestions?

Re: CWM Recovery help
Ok, bad move #1 using CWM on the Rezound. You should load AmonRa and try to finish whatever you started. CWM has nuerous issues on this phone.

Re: CWM Recovery help
alright I have discovered what I've done wrong....the phone still isnt working but heres how it happened.
I did flash amon ra, and clean rom. Once I got it all setup, I downloaded ROM Manager, this has killed the phone. Like I said everything I try to flash a new rom from zip on sd, the little rom manager dude blocks me. Any suggestions on how to get rid of him so I can reflash. When I plug the phone into my computer to adb device it is not found. I have download HTC Sync. - 08-15-2012, 02:17 PM #6

Re: CWM Recovery help
I acutally downloaded a toolkit that had amon ra and cwm on it, did the cwm I believe and its working again...........4g is still dropping and not switching to 3g so I have to stay on CDMA. I am running clean rom 4.5. Would trying a new radio help me? Paging Mr. Smith?!!

Re: CWM Recovery help
I highly suggest not using CWM. There are a few bugs, and it's no longer under development for the rezound. The biggest being if you drain your battery completely, the battery won't charge in the phone, you have to get it into another phone, or get an external charger.
A new radio might help, but if your not very comfortable with flashing, and what not, you have a much higher chance of bricking. You also have to be s-off to flash just a radio. Did you ever flash a newer ruu? The newest leak that came out a couple days ago has new radios, so maybe just flashing an ruu (especially if your s-on) will fix most of your problems. What do you give Akop? A doughnut..... - 08-17-2012, 10:13 AM

Re: CWM Recovery help
I flashed a newer ph98img if that is what the ruu is. Im not really going to screw with it while its working somewhat

Re: CWM Recovery help
The ph98img could be an ruu, or it could just be the kernal to the rom your on.
Are you s-on or s-off? And when you ran the last ph98img, did it run once, reboot, and run a second time, taking maybe 5 minutes total, or did it run once, and took about 20 seconds? What do you give Akop? A doughnut..... - 08-17-2012, 03:33 PM

Re: CWM Recovery help
I am unlocked but s-on still, I always run the ph98 twice and took quiet a while to run.
When I go into recovery I am using RA Vigor v 3.15
