Trying to gain root access.

Hey folks. Hoping for some help. I succesfully unlock my wifes Rezound and installed the recovery from Mr Smiths guide. The phone does not seem to have full root access. When I attempt to install the new Supersu it fails. The phone is OTA 4.0.3. Just hoping to get some info from someone who may have attempted this recently. Thanks.

Make sure u flashed amon ra recovery from xda site. Superuser won't work with ice, should be superSU. I dl'd a root checker from play store to check if root access is available.

Try flashing the file from the link in this http://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=199461

Fixed my problem and allowed superuser to function properly as well

Thanks for the help. Worked like a champ. Flashed the Supersu.zip and everything is running well.
