Thinking of Rooting have a ?

I want to be able to us Wifi Tether so I can take advantage of my Unlimited data

I'm not wanting to use a custom ROM, and Im curious if there is a place to see what apps wont work when rooted.

most will, as long as they are not movie or music related (netflix being the one off the top of my head)

You might want to look into foxfi as an alternative. I have never used it, but they say you can hotspot without rooting

Google movies was the only app that didn't work when rooted. They all work now, or at least I haven't run into one that didn't work because I was rooted. Wifi-tether works great for rooted tether, the best obviously being the native tether app(which only works when hacked or is free on a tiered/shared plan).

So what is best, proven way to hack the OEM hotspot app? I have been trying wifi tethr all, but its no working... I'm unlocked n rooted...
