Advanced Hardware Exchange
So in March, I upgraded to a Samsung Captivate on Rogers. I love the phone, I love the OS, and I feel I'll never go back to any other OS. However...it's the hardware that's got me bugged.
I've read online that it's a common issue for Captivates to have issues with the hard buttons on the bottom of the phone to randomly activate without being pressed. This is something I've dealt with twice already, with two separate phones. I'm waiting on my third one to arrive, and I'm hoping that this doesn't have the same...bleeping...issue.
If per chance it does, what are the odds of Rogers giving me credit towards another phone? I've had this phone less than a year and already I've gone through two of them due to no fault of my own. I asked the representative what the odds were, and he mentioned that the odds of me getting a third faulty device are extremely slim.
What do you think? Does anyone else have any experience with this sort of thing?
