Personally I'm hoping that 32 is at least the minimum but I do not believe I'll be looking at the 5 if it tops out at 16 and Google continues this idiocy of low onboard storage forcing cloud usage.

    Yes. My16gb N4 has >10gb available. Don't think it's ever had less.

Not sure. I am probably more inclined to get a 32. I want all my music on me, and independent of streaming.

16 is plenty for me. But dependent on price difference I could go with a 32

16 is not a deterrent to me, but I will buy one with more storage if its available.

16gb is plenty for me to be honest, I do not need 5gb of music or pictures on the phone at any given time.

Storage is cheap, there's no reason for Google not to offer at least 32GB, this isn't 2010 anymore.

Although ive always been a nexus fan and will remain to be, I would like to see a 32gb model or even 64gb options although I doubt we will see a 64 my fingers are crossed for a 32gb.

They are both powerful android devices with great batteries, with 32GB of memory.

Totally different UI and form factor...so all you are looking for in a phone is battery and storage, why not include the Droid Maxx or S4?

No Verizon, and no more Samsuck. My entire Android life has been Galaxy, I am done with the lag.

You can actually buy the droid maxx developer edition unlocked to work on any GSM carrier and get great battery life

However, lets get back to the topic. Anyone else looking to buy the N4 if it has 16gb? Personally, I am at least PRAYING they dont release a 8gb version lol. I got one for my cousin and every time a new game comes out he has to delete his old one to have enough space to play the new one. I completely understand why there is no more SD card on Nexus devices, and in these cases their irrelevant either way, and I can even understand that these are supposedly supposed to be for developers, but I will remain optimistic for a 32gb version

Let's remain hopeful that they do better than just 16GB now and include a 32GB model as well.

No. My current phone is 16GB + 32GB SD card, and both are full. I already ditched my local music for streaming and still had to do another round of cleaning to make space last week.

The whole cloud reasoning for keeping the phone space low is silly. You cannot keep your apps on the cloud, and they are getting bigger and bigger.

Absolutely! I store very little media on my phone. I almost wish I would've bought the 8GB version of the Nexus 4 and saved $50.

Yes. My 2012 N7 was 16 and I never ran into any issues. Sometimes people try to explain why they need more but it rarely makes any sense to me.
I mean, you can fit thousands of songs, pictures and many short movies (home made ones). Storing DVD quality films on a phone is silly.

16gb of storage is more than enough for 90 percent of users.
When I worked in wireless and sold iPhone's, at least 9 out of 10 buyers selected the 16gb model.
Sure it's nice to have more options but no one "needs" more than that.
That being said it is 2013 and it's very obvious that the motive behind keeping internal storage small is to push storage to the cloud.
For me I love Google drive. All of my photos are there and the important ones are available for offline viewing.
As far as music, I use Google play music and pin my music to my device.
I feel that Google will offer a 32gb option this time around but on the same account I would not be at all surprised if 16 was the max and yes I would still buy one.

Yep for sure. If Verizon really does get it this year then I would use my upgrade for this thing. Otherwise if it gets ridiculously delayed I'll lose interest and see what HTC may have coming down the pipeline. Especially if it's something like the DNA but more powerful.
