We first heard about the Motorola Moto G2, the forthcoming successor to the highly popular Moto G, last month. Now, a full set of specifications for the Moto G2 has been spotted on benchmarking site GFXBench.
The site lists a Motorola smartphone with a model number XT1063, which features a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The processor is the same that currently powers the Moto G.
The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage, and on the software front it is said to run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
There are some new photos of the Moto G successor from HelloMotoHK. http://www.droid-life.com/2014/08/26/new-moto-g-reportedly-appears-in-full-form/
32GB with a MicroSD slot. Hmm.
Looks to me like 8GB with support for microSD up to 32GB.
Here's the specs, and does it seem right that there using a HD TFT Display instead of a LCD like on the original Moto G? Also do you think they'll release a CDMA version? I'm going to get this for Christmas if they release a CDMA version like the Verizon, BoostMobile, and Sprint versions hopefully one on Straight Talk!!
