So let's say HTC really brings it in the fall and releases the Hero they need.

This is still the phone I want to see HTC release (specs & name updated for Q4 2015 flagship status), orange bug-eye and all:

But I doubt HTC will ever venture beyond a 5.5" display in a flagship again: 5" to 5.2" seems to be their comfort zone.
So I'll predict a new dual camera with OIS, HDR+, 4K video and 3D gimmickery, a MediaTek Helio X20 processor, a 3220mAh battery and a 5.2" QHD display.
