Are 5G phones "myth" or "Fact"?

Yea, I know that I night be jumping the gun.. being that we were just recently introduce to 4G.

What do you think--- ?

rofl .. 5G is a LOOONG way off... considering we havent hit official 4G speeds yet. We are on the Diet Coke of 4G.

Yea, you're right - but remember just a few years ago Video Chat and 4G Speeds seemed impossible right? Hahaa

Nothing is impossible with technology I believe.

I think we will see 5g phones in our life times, or even in the next 5-10 years. But as of right now, they might be testing it. VZW has been testing LTE for a while, I think like the past year or so before they took it to the public.

I'm sure we'll see it in our lifetime, but it's a ways off. The iteration of LTE that we're seeing is really only a stepping stone. We're still quite a few years off before Advanced LTE (TRUE 4G) hits the market.

With technology advancing as fast as it is, full LTE is probably being tested right now and maybe concept of 5g is out there. And being tested by a limited number of places.

A lot of new technology that is announced today is not new, it's usually old 3ish years but new to the public.

we will see it. in the good ol usa its all about marketing. once 4g becomes 3g, 5g will be on its way. i give its 6 years an we will hear about 5g coming.

not true 5g, but then again, half of the current 4g isnt 4g lol

All of the current '4g' isn't 4g. So fake to the op just as 4g phones are real in advertising. 4g does not exist yet and won't for a while.
