Ok barely a tiny bit of light.
HTC Nexus Sailfish leak reveals 1080p display, MSM8996 chipset - Android Authority
They're saying 5.25" device based on the 420 DPI, but I think that is a DPI claim, not a PPI and that the actual PPI will be 440 or 441, as that's 5.0" on a 1080p screen. I then think they're shrinking the DPI to 420 (rather than the next closest natural value of 480) because on a 1080p AMOLED screen, 480 will look terrible at 5" and 320 is way too little. Information scale optimization. More info in a smaller space.
1080[SUP]2[/SUP]+1920[SUP]2[/SUP]=2202.91[SUP]2[/SUP] and 2202.91/441 = 5.00" when rounded to two decimal places.
The build prop also suggests the MSM8896, which is the Snapdragon 820 - although that's the same number as the 821, which is the MSM8896 Pro (not sure why AA doesn't know that). MSM8996 (820) & MSM8996 Pro (821).
So we're looking at a 5" or 5.25" 1080p AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 820 or 821 with 4GB RAM, 32 GB storage (unsure of other options) and most likely at 2770 mAh battery, 12/8 MP cameras and a rear mounted FPS.
Interestingly enough, the word "HTC" is not in the build prop. For my 6P "Huawei" isthe manufacturer and on the 5X "LGE" is and my 6 "Motorola" is. On this one it says, "ro.product.manufacturer=google". Maybe they're still trying to hide who the OEM partner is?
