Well, since all the AT&T folks including me were duped into thinking the new Samsung Skyrocket was going to have a 720p display, I am awaiting for the LG P930. This device is supposedly coming to AT&T and also is supposedly supposed to have an HD 720p display. Whose on the boat with me? Anyone got some inside info besides what is known already, which is the above mentioned as far as know?

I'm not sure who duped you, but I was never under the impression that the SkyRocket would be 720p. As for LG, I heard some of the Optimus phones just received, or are about to receive gingerbread. With LG's track record of updates the LG P930 might release with Gingerbread and 8 months later, after JellyBean, you will get ICS. As for quality of build, well I've never owned an LG so I will refrain from comment.

But the theoretical spec of the device sounds real nice.

I've owned an LG device or two through the years, granted not smart phones.

Definitely not the best build quality, to say the least. Very disappointing.
