Ok so i got a text for an update on my Captivate Glide. Finally got software downloaded to computer and started the update. Phone got unplugged and brick walled my phone. Recovery wouldn't even work on it. Now I'm having to pay to have someone completely rebuild my phone (for lack of a better term) and I really want to know how it is that my phone ended up rooted. I got it brand new out of box and have been the only user. Did it come rooted? If so then wouldn't some fair warning be nice? Why did the update screw it up so bad? Why send updates if it'll basically crash your phone? Inquiring minds need to know. I've enlisted all kinds of IT help with this and really just am dumbfounded by all this. Can anyone help me understand??
