Should not compare to Macbook's of any kind or even PC's. Both have fully functioning operating systems that do far more then a Chromebook. A Chromebook should be compared to a Nexus 10 or other tablet running a OS that works with a apps store and pretty runs though a ecosystem with cloud storage. While I give a Chromebook thumbs up for what it does. It does not do that much compared to a Mac or a PC. Its really not designed to do so. It is a very inexpensive second or third device or even a child's first computer. That 's not really a bad thing. But I think it ends up being a niche market.
