Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding my Alpha Camera. I keep taking crappy pictures and I don't know if it's the settings, the camera is crap by standard, or if my camera is faulty..

Below I have a screenshot of the settings, and a picture with these settings used..

What are your thoughts?

Sincerely,
Henrique

The picture seems decent for typical cell phone photos. Until you can afford a gigantic full frame DSLR camera with super fast lens, you need to keep the lighting level much higher. The tiny LED flash on the phone, any phone, just isn't enough for this kind of situation.

Camera is about as good as an S5 in 12 megapixel mode not 16 .
It's pretty good- Samsung purposely held it below S5 and way below Note 4 - not to save money but to not exceed "precious" S5 in any way ( except less lag).

Try supporting Alpha on something and voice actuating the shutter "shoot".
Minimize camera shake- you should get very good pics outdoors and bright indoor.
Reset Camera - you may have "picture stabilization" on this is for low light only and must be held very still for up to a few seconds if used .Shut OFF .
Rest the Camera on anything and voice actuate - will be very clear.
Also clean the lens and CAREFULLY remove plastic clear piece over the lens which samsung packs.
