How to know if my phone Samsung Galaxy Core Prime have OTG function and how to activate it?

I don't think I've seen a case where a phone DOESN'T include OTG support. As far as "activating it", just plug the thumb drive into the adapter, then put the micro-USB end of the adapter into the phone.

OTG will not work for the Core Prime. My mom has that phone and I have tried plugging in a mouse and a usb flash drive. There is no feedback when I plug them in. There is an app in Google play that checks if your phone has access to OTG.

Sorry lol but there might be a way to activate it. I don't know much of the internals and stuff of phones but if your phone has the compatible hardware to use OTG, you might be able to turn it on some way if it is rooted, but I wouldn't recommed rooting. Your main phone at least.
