If you bought a Samsung Gear at Best Buy last week on special $89.99

You get a refurbished Samsung Gear running Tizen, but the Tizen it comes with is not what is being used on the new Gear update... It felt like the Tizen version was older or crippled......

I fixed it.... I downloaded the Tizen Gear software for UK (there is no USA version to be found) then installed Odin software and with it I downloaded the new Tizen on my Gear and ....

I'm a happy camper...

You got a great price! I am still on the android operating system. I have not seen any reason to update to Tizen.

Are there any benefits yet?

Yes it's faster. Uses less battery.

I have no problems with speed but the battery life could be better.....
